How are you cutting through the noise this week? Let’s talk about it. 👇
Hey everyone, Justin here. In God Is Personal, we talk a lot about the difference between religious performance and actual relationship. One of the hardest lessons I had to learn—especially coming out of the military and spending years chasing validation—was that God isn’t impressed by our "metrics." He doesn't want our religious resume; He just wants our presence. But let’s be honest: in a crowded, noisy, hyper-polarized world, giving God our presence is incredibly difficult. It requires intentionality. It requires us to stop doing things for Him long enough to actually sit with Him. So, I want to hear from you today. We are building this community to help each other move past empty religion, and that starts with honesty about our daily habits. Drop a comment below and answer this one question: What is ONE specific, practical thing you are doing this week to quiet the noise and cultivate a personal relationship with the Father? • Is it 10 minutes of silence in the car before you walk into the house? • Is it reading a chapter of the workbook instead of scrolling the news first thing in the morning? • Is it having a hard but honest conversation with God about where you feel burned out? There are no wrong answers and no "perfect Christian" metrics here. Share what you are doing—or what you are struggling to do—so we can encourage each other. Can't wait to read these. I’ll be in the comments responding! (Bonus points: If you see someone else’s comment that resonates with you, give it a like or reply to let them know they aren't alone!)
Most men I know are not struggling with whether God exists.
They are struggling with whether God is actually present in their specific life. In the specific mess of it. The marriage that is harder than it looks from the outside. The job that is grinding them down. The version of themselves they keep promising to fix and never do. That is not a crisis of belief. That is a crisis of intimacy. And it is the most common spiritual condition I have encountered in twenty years of ministry, in the military, and in the church. It is also exactly what this community is built to address. If that description fits where you are right now, I want to hear from you. Drop a comment below. Tell me one thing you are carrying that you have not said out loud yet. You do not have to have it figured out. You just have to be willing to say it in a room where someone is actually listening. I am listening. Justin

I want to be honest with you for a second.
I built this community because I was tired of faith being a solo sport. Most of us are carrying things we have never said out loud to another person. Not because we do not trust God with it, but because we have not found the right room to say it in. This is that room. So here is what I am asking: post something today. It does not have to be polished. It does not have to be a testimony or a prayer request or a theological insight. It can be one sentence about where you are right now. Struggling with consistency. Feeling the distance. Had a moment this week that reminded you why you are here. Whatever it is, put it in the feed. The reason this community exists is not the classroom. The classroom is the framework. The community is the thing. And a community is only as real as the people in it are willing to be honest. I read every post. I will respond. Show up today. Justin

Something Big Is Coming. Here Is a Sneak Peek.
Hey everyone, I want to give you a quick behind-the-scenes update. The God Is Personal Classroom is currently being recorded and developed, and I could not be more excited about what is coming together. Here is what you can expect: 6 modules built directly from the book and workbook, walking you step by step from the noise of a crowded world all the way into a daily, personal, intimate walk with the Father. Every lesson includes a short teaching from me, a hands-on exercise from the workbook, and a practical action step you can bring back here to the community. This is not going to be another course you watch and forget. It is going to be a journey you actually take. We are in the recording and production phase right now, and I want this to be done right before it goes live. Stay tuned because it will be worth the wait. In the meantime, I want to hear from you. Drop a comment below and answer this: What is the one thing in your walk with God you most want to see change by the time you finish this course? Your answers are going to shape how I teach this material. I am reading every single one. See you in the comments.
