Identify Your "What If" Lie: What is one "what if" statement that causes you anxiety or makes you feel distant from God right now? 1. Counter with "God Is" Truth: For that specific lie, what is a corresponding "God is" statement that speaks truth into that fear? The great thing about truths and facts is that they don't change when someone leaves the room. Truth is not subjective. They are a set standard that we can trust. Truth gives us a basis on which we can make informed choices outside of ourselves, such as murder is wrong. Regardless how an individual feels about the subject as a society we agree on this truth and align our lives, our laws, and our choices according to it.
