If you’ve been following the recent road trip that Mrs T and I have made from the UK through to the Algarve and back, you’ll know we’ve visited a lot of places within Portugal. Aside from having a great time travelling through the wonderful country, the trip had a more serious purpose - to try to assess where we might want to spend more time in the future. However, we are not currently in a position to commit to over 6 months a year, so a D7 visa is out of the question.
So while GMP and Expats Portugal tend to be focused on moving permanently, I suspect there are many like us that will have to fit into the 90/180 day rule, at least for the time being. Is there an opportunity to look at providing help for that group? Maybe looking at 3 month lets? Best areas v time of year etc? Self help groups? Etc.
