Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
This verse shows clearly that the office of a prophet is not self-chosen or based on gifting; it’s a divine appointment established before birth.
