Prophets of the Bible
Major Prophets (longer prophetic books) 1. Isaiah 2. Jeremiah 3. Lamentations (traditionally linked to Jeremiah) 4. Ezekiel 5. Daniel Minor Prophets (shorter books, sometimes called “The Twelve”) 1. Hosea 2. Joel 3. Amos 4. Obadiah 5. Jonah 6. Micah 7. Nahum 8. Habakkuk 9. Zephaniah 10. Haggai 11. Zechariah 12. Malachi Key Prophets Without Their Own Books These men and women are called prophets in Scripture or function prophetically: - Moses (the greatest prophet of Israel, Deuteronomy 34:10) - Samuel (1 Samuel 3:20) - Nathan (advised King David, 2 Samuel 7:2) - Elijah (1 Kings 17–2 Kings 2) - Elisha (2 Kings 2–13) - Gad (David’s prophet, 1 Samuel 22:5) - Ahijah (1 Kings 11:29) - Shemaiah (2 Chronicles 12:5) - Iddo (2 Chronicles 9:29) - Azariah son of Oded (2 Chronicles 15:1) - Hanani & Jehu his son (2 Chronicles 16:7; 19:2) - Huldah (female prophetess) (2 Kings 22:14) - Deborah (female prophetess and judge) (Judges 4:4) - Miriam (prophetess, Moses’ sister) (Exodus 15:20) - Anna (prophetess at Jesus’ dedication) (Luke 2:36) - John the Baptist (called the greatest prophet, Matthew 11:11) Notes - The Bible often refers to “company of prophets” (schools of prophets, e.g., 1 Samuel 10:5, 1 Kings 20:35).

What is God highlighting to you?
What is a common topic or scripture that God has been talking to you about lately? For me I keep hearing ““Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ I remember the first time I prayed the bold and scary prayer “ Enlarge my territory” Prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 (NIV): “Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, ‘Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.’ And God granted his request.” Jabez prayed a simple but powerful prayer: “Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my territory.” He wasn’t just asking for more land. He was asking God to increase his influence, impact, and capacity to live out his purpose. When we pray this, we are not asking selfishly. We are asking God to expand our ability to touch lives, to carry His presence, and to steward greater responsibility for the Kingdom. Enlargement always comes with dependence on His hand and protection: “Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from harm.” 👉🏼So today, ask God to enlarge your territory. Not for your glory, but so you can bring transformation wherever you go. However, be ready for the testing and the big faith because this is not just a baby prayer this is generational breakthrough!!!

5 Major Signs You Might Be Called to the Office of a Prophet
1. Chosen and Set Apart Before Birth God’s call on a prophet begins before birth. This is not a gift you pick up—it’s an office God ordains. - Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV): “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” - Isaiah 49:1: “Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.” Processing difficulty: This can feel like being “different” since childhood. Many prophets struggle to understand why they don’t fit in because God set them apart. 2. Carrying the Burden of the Lord Prophets cannot escape the weight of God’s word. It burns in them, often disrupting normal life. - Jeremiah 20:9: “…His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” - Amos 3:7: “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” Processing difficulty: This weight can feel overwhelming. Prophets often wrestle to process visions, dreams, or burdens that others don’t carry. 3. Marked by Rejection and Misunderstanding Prophets often face hatred and rejection, even when people don’t understand why. The Spirit you carry convicts, and people resist that. - Luke 6:22: “Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.” - Acts 7:52: “Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute?” Processing difficulty: This rejection can be lonely and painful, leading prophets to wrestle deeply with their identity and calling. 4. Accuracy and Fruit Confirm the Office A prophet’s words must align with God’s truth and be confirmed by fulfillment. - Deuteronomy 18:21–22: “If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken.” - Matthew 7:16: “By their fruit you will recognize them.” Processing difficulty: Prophets feel deep responsibility when carrying God’s word fearing to misrepresent Him. The weight of this accountability can be mentally and spiritually taxing.

Declarations for Oppression (Spiritual Weight)
I declare that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every power of darkness. I have authority in Jesus’ name to trample on every work of the enemy, and nothing shall harm me. Every chain of oppression, every weight of torment, every spirit of fear and confusion, I break your hold now in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus covers me, surrounds me, and protects me. I declare that every assignment of the enemy is canceled and destroyed. I am not under the devil’s power, I walk in the freedom of the Holy Spirit. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment I condemn. Jesus came to set the oppressed free, and I am free indeed. The Spirit of the Lord rests upon me, and where His Spirit is, there is liberty. I walk in victory, I carry peace, and I live in the power of the Holy Spirit. I am free, I am whole, and I am untouchable under the authority of Jesus Christ.
