Overcoming Anxiety with Prayer and God’s Word
- Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
- Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.
- 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
- Psalm 94:19 When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy.

Prayer Declaration for Anxiety
Father, I thank You that You are my refuge and my peace. Right now, I release every anxious thought, every heavy burden, and every fear into Your hands. I declare that anxiety has no authority over my mind, my heart, or my future. I choose to trust You fully, knowing that You are working all things together for my good.
I decree and declare:
- My mind is covered by the peace of Christ.
- Fear has no place in me, and anxiety must bow to the name of Jesus.
- I walk in perfect peace because my thoughts are fixed on You.
- I cast every care on You, Lord, because You care deeply for me.
- I receive Your rest, Your strength, and Your confidence today.
Lord, fill me with Your presence and remind me that I am never alone. You go before me, You are with me, and You hold my future secure. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
