Step One: Write down 5 niches you’re deeply interested in
1. Example: I’m gravitating towards the dry van semi truck niche. Lots of carriers in that niche.
2. Flatbed Trucking because i feel i can work best with that load.
3. Refrigerated Freight i know a lot of carriers have this type of niche.

Step Two: Write down 5 skills or areas of expertise you currently have
1. Example: I know friends with trucking companies. I have a degree in finance. I’m good in front of the camera. I can easily make friends. I know how to do sales/marketing.
2. I have good communication with people, get with others easily well.
3. I know how to do sales/marketing be a entrepreneur.
4. I know a lot of people that have fright trucks
5. I know how to cook.
Step Three: List the problems, fears and desires of your chosen niches
1. Example: People with dry van trucking companies have a lot of loads available. Yet, they struggle to find high paying lanes. They also don’t feel comfortable managing the paperwork.
2. Low Freight Rates: The oversupply of dry vans compared to demand can drive freight rates down, making it difficult for owner-operators and small carriers to remain profitable.
3. Deadhead Miles and Poor Route Planning:Drivers often travel long distances without freight (deadhead), which increases fuel costs and reduces profits. Poor route optimization also leads to inefficient fuel usage and time waste.
4. Running at a Loss or Going Out of Business:Rising fuel costs, equipment maintenance, insurance, and compliance fees make it hard to stay profitable. Drivers fear not earning enough to cover these costs.
