Problem-Solving: Dispatchers tackle unexpected issues like traffic jams, weather delays (responsible for ~23% of trucking delays), vehicle breakdowns, or driver emergencies. Quick thinking is crucial to reroute drivers or adjust schedules to minimize disruptions.

Technology Use: They rely heavily on tools like Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, ELDs, and load boards to monitor shipments, optimize routes, and ensure compliance with regulations.
