MC Number
Good morning! I just want to confirm something. One of the videos mentioned that we wouldn’t need a MC number right away, but what if a carrier doesn’t want to add you on their MC even if you do pay them for it. Also, we wouldn’t have to ask each carrier we work for? I’m thinking that’s more money we’re paying monthly based on how many carriers we work with. Isn’t it sensible to get your own MC if you have more than one carrier? 🤔

@Carla Mitchell Your welcome but don’t over complicate it.lol I understand what your saying, yes you can use one MC# that just tells them who has access “that carrier.” IF he/she leaves you then you could ask whomever your next driver is or would be. The purpose of the “access” from any of them is so that you can gain access to that DAT load board. Hence why you would want to ask any of the carriers you sign on with you to dispatch them. That way you’d always have access to that particular load board IF they have it, IF they don’t then you could “with their permission” sign them up for DAT load board so that they and you have access to their loads without it the need truly decreases in terms of access to those loads. This is why ultimately you’ll want to get “your own” access by getting your own MC# but it can be way more expensive than you’d want to deal with starting out hence why your asking carriers to use their MC#’s. Make sense?

Hey Dispatchers
👋🏾 Hi guys! How is everyone? What’s going on in your world? How far have you come? What are you stuck on? Anyone in the paid course? Anyone got their first carrier? Anybody partner up with anyone here? Me? I have one last video to watch in the free course in the Truk AI Full Guide. Afterwards, I’m going to start working on my business a little bit, then start the paid course. Let’s catch up y’all. Drop your wins, questions, worries, or advice here!

@Carla Mitchell Sorry I didn’t fully answer your question I’m still a driver at this time learning the professional side of dispatching. But I’ve been on the other side of it as well when I was dispatched all be it by a company dispatcher but it was dispatching none the less and this is what those orders look like that we all will be doing to the drivers or carriers.
👋 Hi, I’m Angie!
Hi my name is Angelia but my nickname is Angie. I live in Georgia and I plan on making $5000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1. Knowledge about the trucking business.  2.  How to make money in truck dispatching. 3. Become acquainted with the community members. For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Workout 2.  Read and watch TV 3. Eat out
