Hey great Dispatchers
Hey everyone, I'm new to freight dispatching and trying to figure out the legal side of getting started.
My main question is: can I legally begin working with brokers and carriers as a sole proprietor, or is an LLC required right away?
Also, if I start without an LLC:
· Are my invoices still legally valid for payment?
· Will brokers take me seriously without a registered business?
Would love to hear how you handled this when starting out. Did you form an LLC immediately, or wait until you had some income coming in?
