I have been training in this field for a while, but I haven't started yet.
I have some questions, and I hope experienced people can help me answer them.
First: Why doesn't the shipper communicate directly with the carrier?
I think the carrier has more experience and a communication office, etc. Also, it saves the shipper the cost of the freight forwarder, especially since the shipper is a buyer, any merchant smaller than the manufacturer.
Second: Why isn't the shipping fee paid immediately? Why do we have to wait 15 or 30 days to receive the payment, or resort to a financing service to take 2 to 5 percent of the fee in exchange for giving you your share immediately!
Finally, has anyone here seriously started working as a freight forwarder and managed to earn good money from this work?
