Calling tips:
👋 Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a quick tip that's been helpful for me in calling hundreds of people a day.
Tip: Get in a grove or pattern of workflow that works best for you.
How to Use It: 1. Batching Calls:
  • Grouping similar tasks together can help you stay focused and avoid distractions. For example, set aside specific blocks of time for calls to avoid the temptation to check emails or multitask.
  • You could even categorize the calls (e.g., follow-ups, new leads, or customer service inquiries) and dedicate certain times to each type.
2. Scripting and Personalization:
  • Having a call script or outline can keep you on track, but be sure to personalize each conversation so it doesn't sound robotic. The script helps reduce anxiety and keeps the flow smooth.
  • If you’re making follow-up calls, having notes on previous conversations will make it feel more personal and less like a cold call.
3. Time Management:
  • Break your day into manageable intervals—call for 30-45 minutes, then take a 5-10 minute break. This can help you stay fresh and avoid burnout, especially during long call sessions.
  • Track your call-to-conversion ratio so you know which time blocks are most productive for you. If you know certain times of day yield better results, try to prioritize them.
4. Staying Positive and Energized:
  • Call volume can be draining, so keeping a positive attitude is important. If you start to feel frustrated, take a break or switch up your tasks to stay engaged.
  • Consider using a reward system for yourself—after completing a set number of calls or hitting a goal, reward yourself with something small like a snack, a walk, or a short break.
5. Leverage Technology:
  • Use a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system or a dialing software to streamline your workflow and reduce manual data entry.
  • Set reminders and follow-ups automatically, so you don’t have to keep everything in your head or manually track each conversation.
