Emails and Landlines
Although we all know the effectiveness of SMS or SMS+AI, don't underestimate the power of email.
Of course, it always comes down to knowing your market. Some of my clients have audiences of high-level CEOs who would be pissed if we did a DBR to their personal mobile phones. Many will not even give those numbers out so they use their landline.
Have no fear though...we've created many 6-figure cash infusions using email only to run the offer. What I've found over the years is the biggest factor in a successful campaign is the offer and not the channel.
My preference for B2C audiences is SMS
My preference for many, not all B2B is Email
Tip for executive audiences... Create an email campaign but add in an SMS just as a reminder to check their email.
Example:
Hi Jimmy, it's Gina from Genius Network. Joe Polish just now sent you a private invitation via email. Look for the Subject Line that says "[GN] Your Presence is requested" so you don't miss it, k?
