Hii I'm Kimberly 32 years old.
Throughout the years I have learned that I wanted to do things differently with horses. And that the old fashion way isn't always the right way.
In the photos I shared you can see my beautiful Appaloosa mare Kenzi, who I sadly lost after a long fight against laminitis in December 2025. She was my first horse, my beautiful silver indianhorse. She learned me so many things and because of her I wanted to approache things so much differently. She was a ridingschool horse who refused to enter the arena and turned around in her stable when she saw her saddle. After a lot of work and tears we turned that all around. She started to enjoyed things, started to show her true self more. We had our fair share of discussions 😂 But I loved her with my whole heart. And there are still moment that I think back and she still makes me laugh.
After many talks with my partner we decided that we wanted a new horse. To take our time to search for one... we weren't in a rush. We knew we wanted a young horse and with that we went on our quest. Two weeks ago we went to visit a young gelding and we kind of knew already that he was it.
So on the last photo you can see our 1,5 year old baby gelding Summer who is a mix of NRPSxPaint xQuarter Horse. A whole new chapter for us. And a lot to learn. So I'm open for all the tips and tricks.
I can't wait to start with Summer with the right mindset, an open heart and lots of love to give him.
After Kenzi I've learned that it doesn't matter were or on what stable you are. Stay true to yourself and your horse. Do what your gut tells you ❤️ it is okay for people around you to be not on the same page.
Hope i can access part 2💫
