I have been holding off on collecting emails because of all the work that seems to be involved. And all the chicken or egg scenarios. I just want it to be easy! HOWEVER...I think I finally landed on something that actually makes it easy! I have been experimenting with Claude Ai for awhile now. I use it for personal and for my research and sales outreach at work. But I didnt realize what it can actually do. I asked for something simple the other day and it gave me a downloadable document with and interactive checklist! AND THEN... Today I came across a course in Grow with Evelyn called "In-Skool Offers x Artifacts Kickstart" where Evelyn teaches exactly that! How to create "Artifacts" to use for whatever stage you are creating in the customer journey. These artifacts are coded html documents that you can upload to a platform, she suggested staticapp, and share the link with your customers. I thought, what the heck! I will create a quiz for my travel leads. I worked on it for a total of 3 hours...only because I wanted to get it to a point where I can have them link to my community or to give me their email address to get trip updates from me! All I have to do now is create a sequence in Mailerlite (the email platform I am choosing) and import the CSV from Staticapp to Mailerlite. Claude walked me though parts that I didnt understand. All I can say is wow. I dont have to pay someone to do this for me and its not taking a ton of time. And its fun! I invite you to try out my quiz and let me know what you think! I set a deadline for when I will give notice at my job! I am giving notice on December 4th 2026! I get butterflies when I write it! It's 265 days away! I know its far aways but I decided on it for a few reasons. 1. It gives me the time to learn a ton about sales and gain confidence through doing presentations and closing. 2. I don't want to drop the ball on the company and my sales manager because I just can't do that. and 3. For the WEEKEND! As much as it would be nice to be able to go to work 8 hours and come home and work some more, its not easy to really focus and get the big stuff done. So I do what I can. It's on weekends that I make the most progress. This weekend I will be working on courses for this community and my other community Her Travel Tribe. I LOVE SKOOL SO MUCH you guys! OMGOMG. This is the first time I have had this much clarity! I know its because I am able to grow as my community grows and the pressure is off to get it right and therefore the fog is lifted. We can experiment and tweak as we go. PLUS there's just a world of support here! I am attaching a screenshot of the drafts of what is to come in the classroom. Also, I am thinking of making the Taking Action Course a 30 day repeatable challenge and having that attached to the weekly meetups for accountability. Also, I am going to share my process and progress as I go as well. There are many communities and courses out there and I do love learning but I think the best way to begin is by trying with what we know already and finding out what we don't know that we dont know. A Big Hairy Audacious Goal. Mine is to leave the company I work for and be working full time for myself. I want to work from anywhere on my own time. I want to be building MY brand, not someone else's. The challenge for me is actually setting this BHAG and committing to it. In trying to analyze why I haven't yet, I come up with all kinds of excuses which all lead to fear. But... What if the BHAG is the bulldozer that demolishes all those walls? When I think back to my past accomplishments, they were pretty scary. How did I do that? Well, I had deadlines and I committed publicly to finishing them. The image is a document I started and saved on my desktop awhile back and haven't filled in yet. I say to myself that I just don't know when I can do that. How can I know? I am scared to set it, commit to it and then fail. But what if I do fail? If I put in the work and stay engaged, how can I fail? Failure can only mean I didn't try.
