This business weeds out the weak

I’ve had a lot of conversations with people, and I truly believe the ones who make this business work are the ones chosen by God to endure. It’s scary when you first start risking money you don’t have or try to make a big jump without knowing if you’ll land. This business takes a mix of black-and-white “WORK” and colorful “FAITH” without both, you can’t build something that lasts. IMO.

Creating a business that endures the hardest times interest rates this, interest rates that, “Oh, now’s not a good time,” “I’ll wait to market,” “This is too expensive” mannnnnnn , all I hear are excuses. But one thing I’m so grateful for is that I’m my own safety net. You can’t take anything from me because I’ve built armor around myself to protect me when things gets tough. I’m willing to risk it all and push through the dark to see the light at the end. How can I fail when I’m powered by GOD?

My alarm goes off at 6 a.m., I drag myself out of bed, drive to my office right in the smack dab heart of Houston, Texas, hit a workout, slam some black coffee, open my laptop, and build. Then I step back and think, “Damn, this is cool.” We got three closings today, another one lined up next week, and a $60k month all while surrounded by a solid group of guys who want to build this thing with me. How can I fail? And even if I did, I’d climb out of the pit and start again, from the bottom back into the light. I do this business because I’m damn good at it and to be honest what is my other option? Cry and doubt and watch youtube videos of others doing deals? Nah i'm good on that... Thank you, God, for everything.

This year, I’m building this business to a million and I’m documenting the journey along the way.

P.S. Mom, I love you. She’s one of the reasons I work so hard. I know she feels me through the work and the damage we’re doing out here. Hope your enjoying bliss with god. I can't wait to be with you :) In the mean time lets put some more weight on this bar it's feeling a little light 🤷
