What’s up everyone — just wanted to share a quick story for anyone out there overthinking or sitting on the sidelines like I was.
I run a business full-time helping fitness coaches scale online, but recently started diving into real estate heavy as a long-term wealth play.
Super new. No real experience. Just a lot of YouTube, guides, and trying to figure it out without wasting time.
Came across the SMS blasting strategy (pretty much exactly like Chris teaches here), pulled a list, set up my texts… and within 2 days of sending out messages — locked up my first deal.
Seller was out of state. Wanted to get rid of the property ASAP. Got it under contract for $40k. Found a buyer off Facebook and assigned it for $45k.
$5,000 assignment fee on my first try.
And let me be super clear → I am still extremely new to this. I will 100% mess up a ton moving forward.
But this was easily the biggest learning experience I could’ve asked for.
I sat on the sidelines way too long trying to “learn everything” first.
Nothing — and I mean nothing — beats actually doing the thing.
Messy action wins.
If you’re in this group wondering if you know enough to start… you do.
Go. Figure it out along the way.
Big shoutout to everyone in here dropping game. Appreciate you all.
