Casey and Dan have created a fantastic community of learning - all built from their own deep expertise and experience, and driven by their infectious passion for video and filmmaking. I was in a Groundhog Day loop of watching endless tutorials and other videos across the internet before I joined. Now, thanks to their courses and their consistent, personalized advice and feedback - on a daily basis! - as well as the inspirational community of other learners, I'm actually producing my own videos!

Taking Casey’s courses has been a great experience. I have only been editing for 7-8 months and I’m pretty much a pro. If I had never found Casey’s courses I don’t think I would be the editor I am today as quickly as I have become. He breaks it down easy for beginners and makes everything make sense. When I started I was greatly overwhelmed with editing but now I feel VERY comfortable with each and every step of the process. Some areas I’m still working on but overall Casey has made me better.

I signed up looking for a really good Resolve course. What I found here is so much more than that. The thing that sets GCFS apart is the coaching. Casey and Dan are experienced creators whose support, knowledge, enthusiasm for your success, and honest feedback have allowed me to progress so much faster and farther in this amount of time than just taking courses to learn the software alone would have. It’s not just about learning the software. It’s dialing in the whole creative process.

This is the real deal - you WILL improve. The key is to be willing to put yourself out there, and invest your time and energy --> Casey and Dan will meet you where you're at and take you to the level. Many levels up, actually! They are very generous with their knowledge and time. Plus, the community itself has the shared goal of constant improvement - I find I am as invested in their projects as I am my own!

One of the things I appreciate most is that they make it really hard to fail. There is so much support available, from coaching and group calls to lessons, feedback, and an incredible amount of additional resources. I never feel like I am expected to figure everything out alone. The roadmap at the very beginning already gave me enough information to edit from beginning to end, including color correction.
