Your warm-up should prepare you to perform.
Don't walk onto the court and immediately start sprinting. Start with movement. Then mobility. Then activation. Then basketball-specific movements. Prepare your body before asking it to perform.

The defense is telling you what to do.
If the defender gives you space... Shoot. If they crowd you... Attack. If help comes... Make the pass. Don't force your plan. Read the defense and react.

Don't practice moves. Practice reactions.
A crossover doesn't work just because you can do it. You need to know: When to use it. Why you're using it. Where you're trying to go. Train your moves with a purpose.

Stop comparing your progress to someone else's.
Someone might be ahead of you. Someone might be behind you. It doesn't matter. Your job is to become better than the player you were yesterday. Focus on your progress.
