Quick one for you today. 🌈
Finish this sentence: "For the longest time, I believed I was ____________, but the truth is I am ____________." Fill in the blanks. Don't overthink it. Just go with the first thing that comes up. This is how beliefs work. They feel like facts until you say them out loud and realize they were never yours to begin with. I'll go first: "For the longest time, I believed I was not enough, but the truth is I am exactly enough." Your turn. ❤️

Let's talk about the loop. 💔
You know the one. It starts with excitement, maybe even hope. Then somewhere along the way, the anxiety creeps in. The texting slows down. You start overanalying everything you said. And before you know it, you're back in the same place you swore you wouldn't go again. Here's something I've learned after years of doing this work: The pattern isn't the problem. It's the symptom. underneath it is a belief. A story about what you deserve, what love feels like, what you're allowed to want. So I want to ask you something, and be honest with yourself: What's the loop you keep finding yourself in? Maybe it's chasing emotionally unavailable men. Maybe it's leaving when things get too close. Maybe it's settling for crumbs and calling it a meal. Name it here. There's power in saying it out loud. And you might just find you're not the only one. 💪

🌈 Welcome! Start Here ❤️
Hey, I'm Lonay! I'm so glad you're here. I created Gay Men Done with Toxic Love because I know how exhausting it can be to keep ending up in the same painful relationship patterns. The chasing. The overthinking. The mixed signals. The feeling that somehow you're never quite enough. I want this community to be a place where we can explore those patterns, reconnect with ourselves, and learn to experience love differently. ✨ Here are 3 ways to get started: 1️⃣ Explore the Classroom Start with the "Start Here" course, then discover guided meditations, self-reflection exercises, and lessons about the subconscious patterns that influence our relationships. 2️⃣ Introduce yourself below! Tell us where you're from and, if you feel comfortable sharing, one relationship pattern you're ready to leave behind. No pressure to share anything too personal. ❤️ 3️⃣ Let's connect! 🤝 I'd love to get to know you personally. I'm offering new members an optional, free 20–30-minute welcome call where we can: - Talk about what brought you here - Explore what you'd like to change in your love life - Find the most helpful starting point in the community - Answer any questions you might have 📅 Book your free welcome call here: Calendar Booking, click here. Your subconscious doesn't argue. It agrees. 🧠
If you tell yourself "I always attract the wrong ones," your subconscious says: Got it. Let's keep finding them. If you tell yourself "I'm done with toxic love," your subconscious says: Okay, but we've said that before, so let's stay ready just in case. This is why willpower alone doesn't break patterns. The programming runs deeper than logic. Here's a practice that helps: The Familiar vs. Unfamiliar Journal Grab a notebook. For one week, write down: 1. Familiar: What felt "normal" today, even if it wasn't good for you? (Overthinking, chasing, shrinking, settling.) 2. Unfamiliar: What did you do that felt uncomfortable but right? (Saying no, resting, choosing yourself, being honest.) 3. Over time, you'll start to see the gap between what feels normal and what's actually healthy. And that gap is where the rewiring happens. Try it this week. Come back and share what you notice. Even one entry counts. 💪

Growing up gay is not a footnote in your love story. 🌈
It's the chapter that came before everything else. Many of us learned early that who we are was something to hide. To manage. To be careful about. And somewhere in there, a quiet message took root: Love is something I have to be careful about. Love is something that could get me hurt. Love is something I might not get to have openly. That message doesn't just disappear when we come out. It shows up in who we're drawn to. In how much we're willing to accept. In how we show up when someone actually offers us something real. So I want you to sit with this question: How did growing up gay shape what you believe love is supposed to feel like? You don't have to have a neat answer. This one might take a while. That's okay. Share what comes up, even if it's messy. Especially if it's messy. 💔
