I turn 60 on Monday.
One thing I've learned over the years is that strength isn't the first thing you lose.
It's movement.
A lot of men focus on getting stronger but ignore mobility until something starts hurting.
Recently I came across research suggesting flexibility may be linked to longevity. That got me thinking about something I've noticed through decades of martial arts and fitness coaching:
The men who keep moving tend to stay active longer.
So here's my question for you:
What's one movement today that feels harder than it did 10 years ago?
For me, it's maintaining hip mobility. If I don't stay on top of it, I notice it quickly.
Let's compare notes and help each other stay capable for the long haul.
