I Built a Tool to Help You Never Miss a Planting Date Again
Hey Rooted Crew ๐Ÿ‘‹
One of the things that used to stress me out every spring was trying to figure out when to start seeds.
Should tomatoes start now?
Am I late on peppers?
Did I miss the window for cabbage?
So I finally built something that solves that problem.
I made a Planting Timeline Tool that calculates when to start seeds based on your last frost date.
You just enter your information and it shows you:
๐ŸŒฑ When to start seeds indoors
๐ŸŒฑ When to transplant outside
๐ŸŒฑ When to direct sow crops
๐ŸŒฑ A simple visual planting schedule
The goal was to make something simple enough for beginners but still useful for serious gardeners.
You can try it here:
Why I Made This
Honestlyโ€ฆ I built it because I kept seeing people overwhelmed by seed starting.
The truth is:
Most gardening frustration comes from timing mistakes, not bad gardening.
If the timing is rightโ€ฆa lot of problems disappear.
Iโ€™d Love Your Feedback
If you try the tool, tell me:
โ€ข Did it make sense?
โ€ข What crops should be added?
โ€ข Anything confusing?
Iโ€™m planning to add more tools like this for the community.
Things like:
๐Ÿงฎ Soil mix calculators
๐ŸŒพ Living soil calculators
๐ŸŒฑ Bed spacing planners
๐ŸŒฟ KNF schedules
Basically a full homestead toolkit.
So your feedback actually helps shape what gets built next.
Challenge ๐ŸŒฟ
Drop a comment with:
๐Ÿ“ Your growing zone๐ŸŒฑ The first seeds youโ€™re starting this year
Letโ€™s see what everyone is planting.
