Some questions I ask myself while doing SAT English that I think might have clicked for me.

The three questions that I ask myself for each specific question is basically condensed form into 3 separate topics.

1.) What is the author doing in this sentence/paragraph

Helpful in questions like Text Structure/Purpose, Transitions based on relationships, and Organization whenever you have Command of Evidence Problems.

2.) What is this question actually testing me on?

Helpful in questions like the Standard English Conventions, Command of Evidence, and Inference due to forcing you to think what rules, textual evidence that one must follow.

3.) What directly proves my answer and what is being twisted?

Heavy on Command of Evidence, Inference, and Cross Text Connections.
