Day 16/120: Desmos Might Actually Be Overpowered
Hello everyone, hope you’re all having or about to have a great day with great weather. Honestly, I don’t even know why I said the weather part, I just want these posts to feel real and not like copy pasted intros and outros with random filler every time.
Anyway, over the past few days I’ve been working on Desmos, and thankfully it’s been pretty easy so far. There are still a few things I personally find faster to do on my Casio fx-991ES Plus calculator, like solving single variable equations and factoring, mostly because I’m more used to it.
I also watched John’s 30 minute Desmos video instead of the shorter 8 minute one. Both cover similar things, but I personally found the longer one way more helpful, especially for regressions. I kept hearing people say regressions were difficult, but honestly they were nowhere near as bad as I expected.
Hopefully by the next post I’ll have Desmos fully mastered and be moving into more medium level math topics.
What are you guys working on right now in your prep?
