What are Grey Jedi? Who are they?
As you may know, I am quite the Star Wars geek.
It feels like the perfect theme for this community because learning the ways of the force is quite similar to learning how to engage in a community.
But there was always something off about the Jedi Order.
In most stories, there is a clear distinction between good and evil.
The Sith are obviously the evil ones, but the Jedi never seemed to be the good ones.
The Jedi feel like the other extreme of the spectrum, where you are not allowed to feel anything.
No emotion, no passion, no love?
No, thank you!
Fortunately, there is a third order.
The Grey Jedi are all about balance.
They are the bridge connecting the dark and the light side.
Taking the best of both to create a better world.
Ashoka Tano, Qui-Gon Jinn, Raven and even Luke Skywalker are some good examples.
(In Legends, Luke even marries Mara Jade, who is a former assassin of the emperor)
I can’t think of a better community to be part of.
Who doesn't want to be an ancient space wizard?
That is what we are building here.
An order of Grey Jedi acting as a bridge to connect all communities into one ecosystem of balance.
