Journey before destination.
Sometimes, the prize is not worth the costs.
How we achieve victory is as important as the victory itself.
There are many paths to success, but only a few are honourable.
I learned this from the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson.
It is an epic fantasy series about uniting people across cultures, beliefs, and personal struggles.
Here are some of my favourite quotes:
• The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think but to give you questions to think upon.
• In the end, we all die. How you lived will be far more important than what you accomplished.
• Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Each book had a profound impact on my life and my journey.
The 5th book is out today, and I’m ready to learn the next lessons.
