Talofa lava! My name is Sara Manu. I am an educator and used to be a Samoan language facilitator at Polynesian Language School in Melbourne. I was born and raised Samoan, and now living overseas, I’m passionate about keeping our language alive at home. Even though my husband isn’t Samoan, teaching our girls gagana Samoa for everyday life is very important to me. That’s why I created Gagana Samoa (o aso uma) a space to learn, practice, and stay connected to the Samoan language we use every day.
