Is Speed Becoming More Important Than Skill?

Every time I open TikTok I see producers making beats in like 5 minutes.

And I get it — it’s entertaining and it works for content. But I’m starting to wonder… are we starting to confuse speed with actual skill?

Because making something fast doesn’t always mean it’s impactful, timeless, or even usable in a real record.

Curious what y’all think…

Does speed really matter, or are we valuing the wrong thing right now?
