My five cents

I am an uncomfortable sleeper - mostly with an old ouma- dog with a pink chunky-wool jersey at my feet and a fluffball against my back - no! not my husband! - my "pension-reducing laatlammetjie" of a fur child!. And in those staring-at-the-ceiling,-listen-to-my-loves-breathing-moments, I think... therefore I am?

Anyway, one of my thinks was this: Somewhere along the way, many of us became experts at being “acceptable.” Responsible. Sensible. Predictable. Useful.

And then one day we join a community like Funnel Junkies… and suddenly something uncomfortable happens:

We start remembering parts of ourselves that we packed away years ago.

The creative part. The brave part. The curious part. The part that still secretly believes that life could become more than survival and routine.

I’m not talking about becoming louder, flashier, or pretending to be some internet guru standing next to a rented Lamborghini, with flashy sunglasses - nogal!. 😅

I mean becoming more YOU.

More honest. More expressive. More willing to take up space. More willing to share your ideas, your wisdom, your humour, your weird little perspectives that make people stop and think: “Wait… I needed to hear that.”

Because building something online is not only about income. Sometimes it’s about identity.

It’s about discovering that we are never “too old,” “too late,” “too quiet,” or “not technical enough.”

We were just buried under years of conditioning that taught us to stay small and sensible.

And perhaps the most beautiful thing about this journey is that while we’re building offers, pages, systems, and skills…

We’re also quietly building ourselves!.

A version of us that trusts our own voice again.

And honestly? That version of you was probably there all along… waiting patiently under the dust and admin. ☕✨ Look yourself in the mirror today and say "Hello, your gorgeous beast!" 🤩😍🤩
