I think one of the most underrated business skills on earth is this:
Learning to laugh at yourself. I certainly have to do that... often..
Because this online journey has a way of serving us very interesting moments.
One minute I'm feeling like a digital entrepreneur of great significance... scheduling content, using words like “funnel optimisation” and “lead nurturing.”
The next minute I am listening to ....crickets...My masterpiece received exactly:
1 like, from my 87-year old aunt... who cant see so well and have clicked it by mistake.
I spend 45 minutes creating a post so profound it could change humanity itself...
...only to notice the typo in the headline after publishing.😵💫
We put a lot of pressure on ourselves sometimes.
We act as if every post must be perfect. Every idea must work immediately.
But life has always had a strange sense of humour.
The people who survive the longest are often not the ones who never struggle.
They're the ones who can smile in the middle of the chaos and say:
"Well... that was gloriously awkward. Onward we go."
Keep building. Keep learning. Keep showing up.
But every now and then, loosen the tie, let your hair down, take off the superhero cape, laugh at the mess, laugh at yourself, and remember:
You are allowed to enjoy the journey while you're becoming the person you are working so hard to become.
Happy Monday, legends 🚀
