Second of all, I've already had the 1-1 kick off call with both, and here's the biggest insight for y'all:

→ Unfortunately, what will get you to the next level is the scary & unsexy thing you don't wanna do:

Get better at editing.

The formative period in my editing journey was September 2023 – April 2024, where all I was thinking about all day long was editing.

$2k → $8k/month in 9 months by getting better.

The problem is that most editors stuck at $1-2k don't know HOW to get better.

This is where Creative Director Shift™ comes in.

I keep seeing editors wasting their hours and potential obsessing over editing "styles"

Meanwhile, during that Sep 2023 – Apr 2024 period, I dropped my style completely, started editing for the viewer, and 4x'ed my income.
