Happy Self Care Sunday! ✨Below you'll find a list of self care ideas, but I think everyone should make their own list of self-care ideas to pull from daily! Some are small ways to show compassion to yourself while others take a bit more time. Any of these pique your interest? Let me know!
I challenge you to select just TWO of these from the list and try it. Take care of you and have fun!💖
  1. Give yourself a manicure or pedicure
  2. Read a book or magazine for an hour.
  3. Sit on your front porch. Just. sit.
  4. Take a bubble bath, complete with aromatherapy (see lesson) and calming music
  5. Pick or buy a bouquet of fresh flowers.
  6. Take a leisurely walk without a goal.
  7. Put on a homemade face mask!
  8. Give yourself permission to binge watch your latest show, without ANY guilt.
  9. Take a nap.
  10. Order in dinner.
  11. Do something crafty: Coloring, knitting, or sewing.
  12. Go to the library or bookstore. Sit in a comfy chair and read.
  13. Sit in the grass and watch the clouds float by.
  14. Look at the stars.
  15. Have a dance party to your favorite music.
  16. Take a mental health day, and not feel an ounce of guilt by it.
  17. Burn a candle or diffuse some oils that have scents.
  18. Sit in a coffee shop and sip on a luxurious drink.
  19. Walk around the fancy grocery store without a list. Buy some stuff just for the heck of it.
  20. Try out a new hobby.
  21. Practice Yoga
  22. Cook breakfast for yourself before anyone else.
  23. Sing at the top of your lungs! Preferably in the car with the windows down.
  24. Go for a drive, no destination required.
  25. Close yourself in a room and listen to the latest episode of your favorite podcast.
  26. Have a 20 minute stretching session.
  27. Go swimming for fun (not exercise)
  28. Go to the park and play on the playground. Be a kid again!
  29. Plan out an extravagant vacation just for fun.
  30. Wear an outfit that makes you feel good.
  31. Declutter a spot in the house that's been bugging you.
  32. Write a list of "annoying tasks" that have been weighing on you and knock them out in a hour.
  33. Bake a dessert you love, then eat it.
  34. Watch the sun rise or set. Don't take any pictures or post anything. Just watch.
  35. Have a picnic by yourself.
  36. Research something that you've been interested in but haven't had the time to dive into.
  37. Edit who you follow on social media (if they don't bring you joy, they gotta go, no matter how nice inspiring or cool they are)
  38. Go to a museum: art, childrens', history or science!
  39. Go to a cocktail hour at the bar, enjoy a drink.
  40. Have an at home spa session (see classroom section for details!)
  41. Get a massage
  42. Spend time out in the garden.
  43. Take the time to do your hair and makeup, for no other reason than it makes YOU feel put together.
  44. Write a list of 10 things you're grateful for and why.
  45. Make yourself a batch of infused water to sip on.
  46. Buy yourself a new set of pens and markers.
  47. Write yourself a letter or an email to an old friend.
  48. Cook yourself a fancy meal for no other reason than 'I deserve a fancy meal'
  49. Say "no" to someone
  50. Unplug for the rest of the day, put your device in another room and do some meditation, engage in hobbies, or do something that really soothes the soul.
