From Numb to New is a space I created because I didn’t get sober out of desire—I got sober after hearing a voice say: “If you don’t stop, you will die.”
It was March 2020. The world was shutting down, and I knew I wouldn’t survive if I kept drinking. So I stopped. Not perfectly—but permanently.
In the five years since, I’ve faced everything I used to numb: trauma, shame, pain, and more I didn't know was under there. I’ve done the work—and now I help other women do the same.
