Start studying what other small businesses are doing
I was looking at the noticeboard at South Beach cafe today and instead of looking at the events, I started focusing on which flyers were calling out to me and why they were so appealing.
I started to gain quite a few insights into how I should promote my community and events on noticeboards from now on.
Ideally you want people to be curious about your flyer and enquire further.
The one in the top right corner that says "Are you ready?". It's the smallest one there but that was the one I couldn't avoid. It drew me in. So I'm going to use the same tactic for my next lot of flyers.
