Hey, I’m Gary James Benness! I've been best supporting role in other peoples musical stories for over 20 years, mostly as a bass player/guitarist/backing singer. For the last 7 years I have started to write and perform in my own musical story My sound is folk/country/blues/soul inspired I’m based in Quedjinup in Sothwest WA. Right now, I’m working on 'Being Better' - which is both the name of the release I'm working on and my current mantra. I've been chipping away in original music projects long enough to know that there's lots of potential for disappointment so I'm boiling it down to the tiniest incremental steps and working towards just being a little better at everything each time. Hey guys, I'm Dale. I make music as MUFASSA and also facilitate a music project called the 'Dreamtime Music Project' in remote aboriginal communities. My flavour is Salty Reggae. I’m currently based in Yallingup, south-west WA. I spend a lot of time on the Sunshine Coast where I grew up and also in North QLD where I run the Dreamtime Project. Right now, I’m working on releasing collaboration singles through 2026, while beginning pre-production for a debut album to release in 2027. My biggest goals at the moment are to record my new album and expand the Dreamtime Project into more remote communities. I'm trying to improve a lot of things, including better time management (juggling family and work commitments), quality and consistency with social media engagement, as well as live performance engagement (visuals, crowd involvement, etc.), any many more things haha.
