Here’s why:
As I write my book, Kuri-chan: Adventures of an American Model in Japan, I’m experimenting with something new — using my real photos and turning them into anime-style moments to help tell the story visually.
I’m literally watching my memories come alive:
• real experiences
• real images
• reimagined through anime
• while I’m still writing the book
It’s part memoir, part visual storytelling, part creative experiment — and I’m loving the process.
