Free and Well is a community for Black women and femmes who are seeking wellness without self-erasure. This is a space rooted in healing, resistance, and education, created for those of us navigating exhaustion, burnout, and survival in a world that depends on our labor while denying our rest.
Here, wellness is not about perfection, productivity, or “fixing” yourself. It is about reclaiming care, naming what harms us, and building more sustainable ways of living and being. This community centers collective burnout, rest as resistance, nervous system care, and culturally attuned wellness that honors our lived realities.
Free and Well is supportive, empowering, and educational. You’ll find language for what you’re experiencing, tools that respect your capacity, and conversations that help you feel less alone. This is not group therapy, but a learning and reflection space informed by mental health principles, cultural awareness, and real life.
