I vibe coded my first ever website 👀
I've been building websites with WordPress for nearly fifteen years. Despite all of my fifteen years of experience, it's still a pain in the a**.
But I didn't move to vibe coding because vibe coded websites often had technical issues, weren't good for SEO, and still required some level of code understanding.
Not anymore.
I took a course recently that taught me all about how to use Claude inside of Visual Studio Code, with a vibe coding workflow that:
➤ Has sound technical SEO
➤ Keeps design elements across pages easily
➤ Loads quickly, with functioning elements
➤ Looks way better than anything I could make myself with WordPress
➤ And can be built in an afternoon
I've attached the before and after photos of my website to this post. I'm still learning some things (like hosting images at scale, making the forms work properly, and setting up a vibe-coded blog without a CMS like WordPress), but I'll be publishing the site soon!
What do you guys think? Have you tried vibe coding yet?
