Need a NEW COMPRESSOR/LIMITER or STRIP(IDEAS)

Looking for a budget friendly Compressor/Limiter. Just need to make some upgrades. I see some on Sweetwater but I'd rather hear from you guys with real reviews. I'm open to all ideas. Can I afford an UA-2A? YEAH. But I also gotta take care of a family lol. I'll bite the bullet if I just necessarily have to, but it's not my 1sr, 2nd or 3rd choice. I've had my sapphire Pro 40 and Focusrite 18I8 since 2014 and they are both going in and out from time to time. So I think the hardware is telling me that it's tired and ready to go home to the hardware Gods. Right now I'm running my vocal mics through:

Behringer MULTICOM PRO-XL
Focusrite Saffire Pro Interface

My main goal is never to fully compress any signal coming in. I simply like to take a little off the top in to control any harsh spikes from screamers. Any suggestions?
