I Fell Off....
Well, I fell of track. I was on fire for this group, this community, these workouts... but I lost steam. I got discouraged. Other things occupied my mind. I didnt see the results I wanted. Sound familiar? If we cannot see the fruit or out efforts, its easy to give up, to think this isn't for you, to just feel not good enough or hopeless. This is all a lie. The truth is, progress was being made. I was growing, learning, practicing discipline. The moment I looked for specific results to show success, I fell. I tell clients all time... aesthetics are not the marker of health and longevity. Progress is not really seen in lbs lost. Progress is in the lifestyle change, quality of life, better sleep, mood, energy, etc. The other results will follow, but dont miss all the well rounded progress being made in the journey... the true life changing things. So, I remind myself now thay even though Im not seeing the growth and engagement I am looking for, I am becoming better in the process, and the results Will follow. Keep going. More is happening than you can see.
