Our lives need to be deeply rooted in fearing the Lord, seeking Him diligently and trusting Him with all our heart. “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight” Proverbs 9:10 “Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6 “But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul.“ Deuteronomy 4:29

Psalms 24 is a powerful scripture that enlightenes us to what it truly means to seek the face of God. If we want to break our familial patterns and generational strongholds, Psalms 24 gives us insight into what and who we ought to be. Having clean hands, a pure heart, not lifting our souls to idols and not swearing deceitfully grants a right to stand the presence of God, stand in the gap and contend for our generation. “This is the generation of those who seek God and His face”

Exodus 13:2 “Sanctify to Me all the firstborn, whatever is first to open the womb among the Israelites, both of man and of beast, is Mine” To be consecrated, means to be set apart. When we consecrate ourselves and wait upon the Lord, He will speak and reveal Himself to us. To know the will of God and walk in alignment requires us to be fully surrendered to Him. The three foundations to being set apart are; Obedience, Surrender and being firmly rooted in the word of God.
