Psalm 68:11 reads, "The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it." This verse is often interpreted as a declaration of God's word being spread by a large group of people, specifically women, these women are proclaiming the good news of victory. "Great was the company of those that published it":
This highlights the large number of people, often specifically identified as women, who are actively sharing and spreading this message. The Hebrew for a Word is poetical, and used especially of a Divine utterance see these verses (Psalm 19:4; Psalm 77:8; Habakkuk 3:9). 🕯️
Reflection: How beautiful is the Word, proclaiming God's victory; Women were used in Israel to publish Good News! There was a reason and purpose why God used these women to spread and share His Word.
