God has really been dealing with me on commitment. And it hit me hard. I looked up and realized I had posted on YouTube three times a day for 106 days straight. No missed days. No excuses. Just obedience. And God whispered to my heart, “If you can show up for that, you can show up for the other things too.” That word checked me. Because the truth is, I’ve been guilty of trying to do everything at once—writing an entire book in a week, building the business overnight, expecting transformation without process.
But God gave me a better strategy. He told me, “Break the writing down. 80,000 words? Divide that. Do 1,334 words a day for 60 days. Edit one chapter a day until it’s done.” Simple. Strategic. Sustainable.
What if the reason so many of us struggle with consistency is because we’re trying to do too much at once? And what if the breakthrough isn’t in rushing, but in showing up—1% better every single day?
That’s what I’m learning to step into. I’m committing to write daily, edit one chapter a day, and update my classroom every other day (or daily when I can). It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being faithful. God isn’t asking us to do everything overnight. He’s asking us to do what He placed in our hands, one day at a time.
So now, what are you committing to in this season? What will you break down in chucks to get it done! Not to burn yourself out. But to honor what God has already given you. Let’s be faithful with it. Let’s walk this out together.
Happy Sunday!!!
