🔥 Why I started Freedom Fund Club
Hey everyone, Rinesh here 👋 Welcome to the very first post in Freedom Fund Club. A bit about me: I’m based in Melbourne, I work full-time, and on the side I run a few businesses here. Juggling all of that taught me one big lesson: Time is the one thing money should buy you. But most of us are on autopilot. Work, pay bills, upgrade the car, repeat. Retirement at 67 feels like the only option, and nobody really teaches us another way. Then I came across the FIRE movement (Financial Independence, Retire Early). The idea is simple: 💰 Save more than the average person 📈 Invest it simply and consistently 🕊️ Build a “freedom fund” big enough that work becomes optional It doesn’t mean you have to stop working. It means you get to choose. I looked for an Aussie community focused on this, one that understands super, our tax system and our cost of living, and couldn’t find one that felt right. So I built it. Here’s my promise to you: No hype, no get-rich-quick schemes, no selling you junk Simple, practical steps you can actually take A community that celebrates progress, big or small I’m on this journey too, and I’ll be sharing my own wins, mistakes and lessons along the way. Your first step 👇 Comment below and tell me: 1. Your name and where you’re from 2. At what age you’d love work to be optional 3. Your biggest money challenge right now I’ll reply to every single one. Let’s build our freedom funds together. 🔥 — Rinesh General education only, not financial advice.
