Background
Hello everybody!
Excited to be here. I’ve been playing guitar for some 45 years now, but it always was empirical. Never read a note, yet I was part of groups (bands) were we got paid to perform, back in the 80s. Became what they called a talented empirical. Would play a couple of Lauro’s pieces, for level illustration purposes. Back in the day I also played charango, cuatro and tiple.
For a few years I didn’t play anything, but as I approach retirement, I decided to learn to read music, starting with Tabs of course, and try to do away with flaws I always knew I had.
