Turn conflict into connection - start with curiosity.
It’s tough not to get frustrated… to not accidentally make things worse… or to not take it personally when emotions run high.
But what if we got curious instead?
What if we tried to sift through the emotion — remembering that we all miscommunicate sometimes? Just like them, we’ve had moments we wish we handled better.
Let’s not dwell on the times we missed the mark. We have this moment — right now — to make things a little better… or at least not worse.
Ted Lasso quoting Walt Whitman always stuck with me:
“Be curious, not judgmental.”
We’ve all needed someone to show us that kind of grace.
Let’s be that — today, tomorrow, next week… whenever the moment shows up.
Do it imperfectly. It still matters.
