Welcome to Field of Marigolds.
This is a space for survivors of SA and DV who are ready to reclaim joy, one wildly imperfect brushstroke or creative meltdown at a time.
Art helped me pull myself out of the darkness. Painting, photography, and writing became the lanterns I carried when life got too dark, feral, and entirely too committed to character development.
This is NOT art therapy. No clinical vibes allowed. You don't have to unpack your entire trauma history before you touch the glitter.
This is an invitation.
Leave your trauma at the door for a little while. You are allowed to exist beyond it. You are not the sum of your worst day. You are here to remember that joy still belongs to you in any way in which you choose it to be. Field of Marigolds is about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that survived, softened, sharpened, and somehow still know how to laugh.
Come as you are.
Messy is welcome. Dark humor is required. We are not here to be perfect. We are here to bloom anyway.
