Voices in My Body - Des voix dans mon corps - Performance bilingue

An immersive dance theatre performance

Who hides behind a simple "I'm fine"? What if it's an entire crowd living inside us: the manager, overwhelmed by a to-do list that never ends. The jealous, angry part, keeping score of what others have. And the grateful part, holding with care the beauty of every moment. Voices in My Body gives these inner voices a body, embodied through dance and movement.

Drawn from the choreographers' own lives and the psychology of Internal Family Systems, this immersive piece is experienced through wireless headphones, in French or English depending on the channel you choose.

And don't forget our 2 weekly shows

Andfriends Radio, every Thursday 8- 10 PM

Andfriends Radio broadcasts live from UNIT, bringing a blend of deep cuts, tracks that have stood the test of time, contemporary takes on gems from the past, and future classics. Rooted in community and driven by curiosity, every week is different, whether presented by Nanaimo's Disco Ambassador, Andfriends, or by a guest DJ from across the West Coast.

Streaming directly from UNIT on Twitch and hosted on CHLY 101.7 FM, the show transforms the space into a living studio where selectors, guests, and friends can hang, socialize, dance, and chill.

Expect everything from deep house and disco, leftfield funk, cosmic chuggers, obscure Italo, and unexpected moments that only happen in the live environment.

As Farrell has been saying since 2018, "Andfriends Radio is the best in dance music - new, old, funky, fresh, stale, obscure, underrated, and underplayed."
