One of the most common questions I get from players and parents is: "How do I actually get in front of a scout?"

Here's the honest answer — you don't wait for them to find you. You go to them.

Three places to start this week:

Google "[your city] football trials 2026" and register for one.
Film a 60-second highlight clip at your next training session or pull some clips down from Hudl or Taka.
Find one scout or academy on Instagram and send a clean, professional DM. Be ready to follow up because if your outreach is cold, you'll need to be patient.
