Counterfeit Wisdom W5: "Forgive and Forget"
Forgiveness is at the very center of the gospel. We are forgiven people, and because we have been forgiven, Scripture repeatedly commands us to forgive others.
But there is a problem with the phrase “forgive and forget.”
The first half is biblical.
The second half is not.
