Grateful isn’t something I wait for anymore.
It’s something I practice in real time, even when nothing feels perfect.
I used to think gratitude came after life got better.
After things calmed down.
After I finally felt “okay.”
But that’s not how it works.
Most of life doesn’t slow down for you to catch up to it.
You learn to meet it where you are.
And gratitude is part of that.
Not pretending things are easy.
Just not ignoring what is still here.
A breath.
A chance to reset.
A day you don’t have to repeat the old way.
